Share N Save (2012)
ShareNSave was a crowdsourced map of initiatives and skills in South Australia (conceived by me and funded by Zero Waste SA, now Green Industries SA) that helped people use less resources through better sharing what we already have. I represented Zero Waste SA at OuiShare 2014, the premier global sharing and collaborative economy event in Paris, to showcase ShareNSave. The platform was also featured on Shareable in 2013 and 2015.
ShareNSave was decommissioned at the end of 2018.Cofounder, Post Growth Institute (2010)
This international network of post growth activists grew out of the Post Growth blog, initiated by Joshua Nelson, Scott Gast and myself. Through the leadership of Donnie Maclurcan, Post Growth Institute is now an international, not for profit organisation leading the shift to a world where people, companies, and nature thrive together within ecological limits by working collaboratively to develop ideas, programs, events, and alliances that promote the equitable circulation of money, power, and resources in local communities and the global economy. Post Growth Institute is behind initiatives including Free Money Day, The EnRich List and the Offers & Needs Market.
Initiator, Adelaide Green Map (1998)
Co-organised and ran Green Map workshops which resulted in the production of the City of Adelaide's Green Map as part of the Global Green Map system; the first green map in Australia and the southern hemisphere. The Adelaide Green Map was created by a partnership of Urban Ecology Australia (UEA), the City of Adelaide, and the South Australian Department of Environment, Heritage and Aboriginal Affairs.
Adelaide's Map covered over 100 sites in the CBD and North Adelaide.
